Summer Sessions; a celebration of community spirit, creative culture and the great outdoors. Set within the Greenwich Peninsula Design District with a stage designed by British-Nigerian artist Yinka Ilori, the free Summer Sessions programme is packed with music, films, culture, food and drink.

Expect the ultimate party vibe with unmissable live music sets, games and an outdoor cinema every weekend until from June to September. Pull up a deckchair and soak up the sounds of the summer.

This year we had an incredible Jazz weekend in June, co-programmed with Women in Jazz & Clonmell Jazz bringing an eclectic line up of rising UK jazz stars.

August saw the Design District filled with the sounds and smells of Carnival with an event with Just Vibez, bringing a huge line up of UK based SOCA stars to the stage. We also hosted a Hip-Hip filled day remembering Brixton rapper Ty, who first performed on the Peninsula during Turning Tides Festival 2019. This year would have been Ty’s 50th birthday so we brought a host of friends, family and collaborators together to remember the impact he had.
