Turning Tides Festival, 2021

Greenwich Peninsula

2021 saw the return of Turning Tides Festival at Greenwich Peninsula within a festival quarter and stage designed by British-Nigerian designer Yinka Illori.

Headliners Oscar Jerome and Zara McFarlane led two days of extraordinary live music with support from aftro-futurist collective Onipa, Electric Jalaba a sextet band taking Moroccan Gnawa music to a new dimension, multi-instrumentalist Holly Henderson, young Jazz duo Maliki, indie singer songwriter Taloula and London jazz duo GeeJay.

An array of street food vendors and bars curated by Urban Food Fest provided delicious nourishment to keep the crowds dancing all day long.
