Big Music Weekend

Design District, Greenwich Peninsula, 11-13th August 2023

Three days and nights of free outdoor music held in the Design District at Greenwich Peninsula.

Friday saw some of London’s finest Jazz Musicians take to the stage in collaboration with Women in Jazz, with performances from Jas Kayser, Camilla George and Maya Delilah on the main stage. Plus intimate smaller performances in collaboration with Clonmell Jazz Social upstairs in Canteen, with sets from Akimbo, Dave Storey Trio & Harry Christelis Quartet.

Saturday was a day for dancing as the stage was transformed into a Rhythm Section block party with DJ sets from Jerry, Kaidi Tatham B2B Andrew Ashong, Charlie Dark & Bradley Zero B2B Louise Chen.

Sunday saw the spirit of Carnival come to the Peninsula with Just Vibez creating a family friendly carnival with kids activities, dancercise, carnival dancers, steel pan performers and DJs as well as a headline performance from Trinidad’s own Freetown Collective.
